Accessibility statement
Bhen SRL is committed to making the bhen.be website accessible to everyone, in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
Compliance status
The bhen.be website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 level AA, due to the non-accessible content described below.
Non-accessible content
- Cal.com booking module. This third-party service opens in an embedded window whose accessibility I do not control. To book an appointment another way, you can write to contact@bhen.be or call +32 (0) 474 68 16 49.
Measures in place
- Full keyboard navigation, a skip-to-content link and a visible focus indicator on light and dark backgrounds.
- Text contrast compliant with level AA on all pages.
- Display without loss of content or horizontal scrolling at a width of 320 px (equivalent to 400% zoom).
- Respect for the system’s “reduce motion” preference.
- Contact through explicit links (email, phone) rather than a form.
- Continuous heading structure, identified page regions (header, navigation, content, footer) and a breadcrumb on inner pages.
- Menus and frequently asked questions usable with the keyboard, with their state (open or closed) conveyed to assistive technologies.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was updated on 24 October 2026, following a self-assessment of all pages:
- automated tests with axe-core (WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules), on desktop and mobile;
- check of the contrast of every text colour used;
- check of the accessibility tree conveyed to screen readers: headings, page regions, names of links and buttons, alternative text;
- keyboard walkthrough: tab order, visible focus, skip-to-content link, opening and closing menus with the Escape key;
- check of the display at a width of 320 px.
Technologies used: HTML, CSS and JavaScript (menus, booking).
